She has also facilitated behavioral parent training groups, COPE, Coping Power, and conducted psychoeducational assessments. Additionally, Geri served as the Assistant Clinical Supervisor in the Summer Academy, the Summer Treatment Program for Pre-Kindergartners in Liberty City, where she trained and supervised counselors delivering intensive behavioral interventions.

Her clinical training also extends to the University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development, where she is currently completing practica in the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) rotation and Early Discovery Clinic.

Geri’s research and clinical interests center on how socioeconomic, racial, and community-level factors shape early childhood psychological functioning and family well-being. She is particularly passionate about developing and evaluating culturally responsive, accessible mental health services that foster school readiness, resilience, and positive parent–child relationships.
